The Story of Omar’s Tent

Omar’s Tent revives the notion that there is a place that appears out of nowhere to provide you with just the right item to satisfy your need of the moment. The idea was born from the Bob Hope/Bing Crosby road pictures, the Popeye and Bugs Bunny cartoons and countless other films and stories. When all hope seemed to be gone and the hero was lost in the desert stumbling  on his last legs he would come across a lone tent. A haven owned by Omar that would have inside whatever was necessary to fulfill the most desperate need. This is what Omar’s Tent is. I am here to provide whatever need you may have at this moment.  Come search inside. If you do not find what you seek then ask. If we do not have it we can likely get it for you.

Hey Jim..I'm loving the rooster mugs. I'm one of those rooster loving people. We use to have two beautiful roosters, but the city made us get rid of them (made too much noise crowing in the mornings). I will order a mug at least in the very near future (money kind of an issue right now). Love love love those mugs..Arlene Shorter

    Hi Jim,

I'm very interested in purchasing some M&M's from you. You mention that your shipping rate for 12 or more bags is USD$58.50. What is the maximum you can ship at this rate? Interested in the volume in pounds and/or kilos. Also, can you get more of a product listed on your ebay page? For example, I would be interested in getting both Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate M&M's.

    Cheers,
    John

Hi John, Thanks for stopping by. Below I have placed a link to one of my listings that is for what you are asking. I can fit 17 bags of peanut butter M&M's into this box. I can also fit 16 or 17 bags of whatever M&M's you would like into this box. It will vary depending on what you are looking for. The Almond and dark peanut M&M's are bulkier than most of the other packages. I can fit approximately 8.85 kg.s into this size box. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks again! Hi Jim.
I came upon this site quite by accident but you invited once found to ask freely…
    I have 2 requests :
1 – for my daughter who is now a mother herself
she once had hand blown glass figurines I gave her, and although there are several good sites for them they are somewhat elaborate in nature not like the ones she had. It was a clown holding some balloons and the baloons where each little blown glass (hollow) attached to his hand by a tiny stiff wire, and a seal with a ball balanced on his nose done same as the balloons… things happen and at 8yrs old the collection along with these 2 items was taken from her and we did not see one another again until she was 18. I wish for her to have them again
2 – a single DVD copy of whatever episode of bugs bunny it was that he being chased through the desert comes upon a very small red and white striped tent – on poking his head inside it is an enormous plush palace tent. He pulls his head in and out once or twice to see if the effect is the same – i think a wolf was the Sheik but I do not know the name or number of the episode… this for my husband as it is symbolic of a landmark we recently achieved in our lives and I honestly don't think he will be with me much longer. (illness)
So if you could find these things so that i may give them as gifts, I would be so very happy.
Maybe Omar has them in his tent somewhere…
    TY – A L Wilson
